About the Role
- Perform various carpentry tasks: framing rooms, install cabinets, and hanging doors
- Replace plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, and faucets)
- Replace electrical fixtures
- Hang, repair, and replace drywall
- Install flooring (wood flooring, carpeting, concrete, and other floor types)
- Install new and existing tile (floors and walls)
- Make repairs to residential and commercial properties
- Install and replace trim, moldings, windows, and other finish tasks
- Clean site during and after performing tasks
- Work with Renovations Manager for material orders
- Install and repair exterior siding, soffits, fascia, trim, shutters, gutters, and other elements
- Install decks and balconies
- Ensure the requires tools are present
Requirements
Must have regular working tools: Hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, saws, demolition bars), Power tools (drills, nail guns, saws)
Be Attentive to details
Read and understand blueprints and designs
Self Motivated
Dedicated to Construction Safety
Be able to understand how to create the appearance GLAM UP KANSAS CITY seeks
Requires squatting, standing, and bending for hours at a time
Excellent Organizational Skills and the ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills.
Proven working experience in renovating residential and commercial interior spaces
A portfolio and references to show previous work experience
Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design
Willingness to learn something new
Must provide proof of General Liability Insurance
