About the Role
- Fulfill maintenance requests by arriving on job sites to assess the situation and repair the issue
- Update drywall and paint as needed
- Help with tile or flooring installation
- Assist with trim carpentry or exterior siding
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing maintenance, and HVAC
- Performs routine maintenance on homes or office buildings
- Break and change exterior locks
- Clean up job sites by loading trash into vehicles and dumpsters to be hauled away
- Remove all hazardous materials and debris from job sites
- Clean tools and equipment
- Operate tools and equipment
Requirements
Be Attentive to details
Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
Computer Savvy
Self Motivated
Dedicated to Construction Safety
Must be able to meet several deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule
Mechanical aptitude
Contractor or journeyman license is a plus
References to show previous work experience
